Progressive Adult Rehabilitation Center, Inc. (PARC)

collects data on annual basis on each of core services and programs operated by the agency. Data collected and information obtained from the annual needs assessment surveys conducted with individuals served and community stakeholders are used to evaluate our programs and services and to assist the agency in strategic planning for the agency.

PARC PARC Sheltered Employment (Organizational Employment)

Number served: 46

Primary Disability: Intellectual Disability

Secondary Disabilities: Mental health disorders, cerebral palsy, hearing impairment, visual impairment, autism, substance abuse, seizure disorder, speech disorder, diabetes, stroke, organic brain syndrome, and other health conditions.

54% of individuals in the sheltered employment program improved in at least one level in two or more assessment areas.
54% increased the quality and quantity of work performed

Contractors

58% of sheltered employment contractors responded to the survey.
100% of respondents indicated that they were satisfied with the quality of work provided by PARC Services sheltered employment workers.
100% or respondents indicated that PARC met their expectations in terms of quantity of work performed in a timely manner.

Results of Needs Assessment Survey

100% of individuals employed in the sheltered employment program responded to the annual needs assessment survey. Respondents indicated that they liked working at PARC and are satisfied with services provided by staff

52% of Parents/ Care Provider that had a family member in PARC Sheltered Employment responded to the survey. Parents/ Care Providers indicated a high degree of satisfaction with services provided by the program.

PARC Supported Employment

Number served: 25

Primary Disability: Intellectual Disability

Secondary Disabilities: Hearing impaired, schizophrenia, cognitive impairments, Turner's syndrome, fetal alcohol syndrome, diabetes, autism.

96% of individuals in supported employment jobs were able to keep their jobs for at least 90 days.
80% were able to keep their jobs for at least one year .
76% of employers rated supported employment workers as excellent or satisfactory in comparison to non-disabled co-worker performing the same job.

68% of Supported employment workers responded to the survey.
100% indicated that they liked their jobs.
100% indicated staff was helpful during follow up visits to their jobs.
80% of Parents/ Care Providers of Supported Employment workers responded to the survey.
100% of respondents indicated that supported employment found suitable employment for their family member. member.

47% of individuals were ready for job placement after work adjustment training.
20% were ready for sheltered employment.
27% needed day support services.
6% dropped out without completing assessment.

Results of Needs Assessment Survey

93% of persons served responded to the survey.
86% indicated that they liked the Work Adjustment Program.
7% indicated that they did not like the program.
100% indicated that they liked the way staff treated them during the assessment.

PARC Day Support Program

Secondary Disabilities- 24- Cerebral palsy, hearing impairment, speech impairment, autism, seizure disorder, visual impairment, schizophrenia, diabetes, obesity, hypertension, sleep apnea, depression.

Results of Needs Assessment Survey

86% of individuals who received day support services were able to respond to the survey. Some individuals are not able to respond due to level of functioning.
100% of the individuals who were able to respond indicated that they liked the day program, liked the training skills and liked the way staff treats them.
44% of parents/ care providers responded to the survey.
100% of the parent/care providers who responded indicated they felt their family member enjoyed the day program.
91% of respondents indicated they were satisfied with the level of supervision provided by the program.

PARC Osage House

Number served: 12

Primary Disability: Intellectual Disability

Secondary Disabilities: Seizure disorder, speech impairment, behavior disorder, blood disorder, autism, hypertension, diabetes, and stroke.

Results of Needs Assessment Survey

92 % of residents were able to provide a verbal or sign language response to the survey.
82% of respondents indicated they liked living at Osage House.
82% of respondents indicated they liked the way that staff treats them.
73% of family members responded to the survey.
100% of the respondents indicated that they felt their family member liked living at Osage House, they were satisfied with the supervision provided by Osage and felt staff was responsive to their family member's needs.

PARC Supported Living

Results of Needs Assessment Survey

100% of individuals who received supported living services responded to the survey
100% indicated they liked the services provided by supported living, liked the support and assistance provided and liked the way that staff treated them.

Community Stakeholders

59% of community stakeholders surveyed responded to the survey.
63% of respondents rated the agency very good in the area of community integration.
56% of respondents rated the agency very good in area of cooperation with other agencies.
63% of respondents rated the agency staff very good in area of professionalism.
63% of respondents rated agency as very good in providing reasonable accommodations.
