Supported Living

Crater Area Supported Living Facilities are designed to assist individuals with mental retardation, to live as independently as possible in the community by lending support, assistance and supervision needed for their success. The program is flexible and provides a variety of options to provide support, assistance and supervision. The program provides support for consumers who reside in two 3 bedroom supported living homes, individuals residing in their own apartments, and for individuals residing in other living arrangements where special assistance is needed.

The philosophy of the program is individuals with mental retardation should have the opportunity to live in the least restrictive environment possible. Our program is designed to make this philosophy a reality by providing all of the necessary support to ensure the success of the program recipients.
