Weekend Recreation

The Weekend Recreation Program was developed in response to requests from consumers and care providers. The program provides an opportunity for individuals with mental retardation to engage in age appropriate recreational activities in integrated settings to enhance the quality of their lives and to provide respite care for their care providers.

The recreation program provides planned recreational activities in the spring, summer, and fall months. Recreational activities, included shopping trips, visits to museums, picnics in the park, sporting events, concerts, movies, beach trips, dinners, amusement parks and many other activities.
